Vineyards and Guildhalls

It's not every day you find your wedding photographer on Twitter, but that's where Marek and Herleen found me. I'm glad our paths crossed, I could not have met a nicer, more sincere couple. From the minute we chatted, they wanted something quirky and genuinely different. Let me tell you their story.

Marek and Herleen's engagement shoot took place at Rothley Wine Vineyard, owned by Liz Robson and adored by literally everyone. I've worked with Liz on different occasions and started to include her delicious wines as part of my wedding packages; see (wedding package page here). I mean c'mon, locally produced wine in the heart of Leicestershire? What's not to love?

My go to favourite is Spirit of Freedom, as pictured, left. If you'd like to join a tour at Rothley Wine Estate, Liz offers them throughout the summer months at a surprisingly reasonable rate. I'd suggest you snap up a tour and see the gorgeous grounds where numerous flavours of English wines are produced. Thirst Media present the tours, so follow this link and see what all the fuss is about!

Without realising this until our second meeting, my lovely couple were looking into English vineyards for their engagement shoot and before we knew it, we were walking through Rothley's very own.

Liz's vineyard is outright beautiful, there's just no two ways about it. She has filled it with love, creativity and of course, animals! Mabel, the gorgeous pointer puppy, at the time was brand new to Liz's family so she had to be in Marek and Herleen's photoshoot! And Herleen wasn't shy about hens either. Mabel even has her own Instagram page, take a look and see how she's grown!

My beautiful couple got married later that year at Leicester's Guildhall. The weather was just as beautiful then as it was during their engagement shoot. I'll let you have a little look before chapter two of this tale arises.

Thank you for reading! Hope to see you back here on the next blog post.

Kind regards

Sammy
