Whoever said your eyes'll turn square if you watch too much TV was probably a square.

I've been making movie references since 1988 and they don't just stop at film quizzes.

Wedding photography and movies have always been my thing and if it's your thing too - then we should talk.

My photography style is mainly inspired by the films I watched late at night when I was supposed to be sleeping. Foreign cinema, science fiction, musicals and the "they-don't-make-'em like-they-used-to" 90's action movies on the lowest volume.

I’m an old school storyteller, experienced in documentary style photography with years of cinematic inspiration in my soul. You will have naturally stylish wedding photography from a quirky and artistic person who is really quite good at storytelling.

In between weddings I manage Deacon Street Cinema in Leicester.

Years of cinematic experiences from sitting in the front row of rare previews, to being an extra in a Hollywood movie (if you'd like to know which one, just ask!), my first job in Antrim's Fountain Hill Cineplex to eventually travelling up and down the UK reviewing cinema venues, interviewing international filmmakers and doing my part in film festivals.

All of this has led me back to my roots in Leicester so I can concentrate on creating splendiferous things for wonderful people.

As a Leicester wedding photographer, having local knowledge and experience of the city as long as I’ve been a wedding photographer is wonderful. When I’m not shooting weddings, gardening or managing a cinema, I’m driving through Leicester’s national parks at sunrise, searching for castles, hidden underground Viking caves and other unusual spots for brides and grooms to have their photographs taken at.

My photographs are sophisticated, quirky and as vintage as the old cinema classics. I aim for every shot during your day to be like scenes lifted from a Hollywood movie.
